With Industry growth breaking the charts, UK game companies are experiencing decline. The Culprit? UK video game companies are pointing to the government and insufficient support for the industry.
The UK does not offer the state assistance and tax credits available in US and Canada, causing the UK to lose its title as the third largest producer of video games. Gaming giant Eidos (the UK’s largest publisher) is taking the government’s shortcomings seriously and moving shop.
